KBR is looking for Mechanical Manager for a PMC project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE

1. JOB PURPOSE:

Provides mechanical engineering leadership and guidance to the team in greenfield LNG projects, focusing on rotating and static mechanical equipment and package engineering. Supports engineering management by ensuring that the design delivered by the EPC contractor complies with the contract, basis, schedule, and budget.

During the execution phase, manages review and assurance of the mechanical scope of work of the EPC contractor, ensuring contractual compliance, safety, and quality. Coordinates with multiple stakeholders to ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards.

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • 20 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries, including at least 3 years in a similar position within LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical projects. Experience in the GCC region is preferred.
  • Skilled in all aspects of mechanical engineering, including rotating and static equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, filters, and cryogenic storage and loading packaged equipment.
  • Ability to review equipment requisitions, datasheets, and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADNOC assets or similar facilities.
  • Experience in all project phases, including scope of work, SOR, design basis, detailed engineering, and procurement.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with operational integrity processes and asset integrity management systems.
  • Understanding of process safety and hazardous area requirements.
