Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Plumbing Bias)

Location: West London (covering 5 adjacent sites) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (No Call-Out)

Are you a skilled, client-facing Plumbing Engineer looking for a premium role in West London with an excellent work-life balance?

We are seeking a professional and multi-talented Mechanical Engineer with a strong plumbing bias to manage maintenance across a small portfolio of five high-end, prestigious sites. All sites are conveniently located next to each other, eliminating travel time and offering the stability of a static role within a walkable, compact site.

Enjoy a Friday schedule with no call-out rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead engineer for all plumbing and mechanical services across the portfolio.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on plumbing systems, including hot and cold water supplies, sanitary ware, drainage, and unvented cylinders.
• Conduct water temperature checks and flushing in line with Legionella (L8) compliance regulations.
• Utilise your multi-skilled abilities to perform basic maintenance tasks outside of plumbing, such as electrical work (lamp changes, ballast swaps), filter changes on AHUs/FCUs, and general fabric repairs.
• Provide high-quality service to high-profile clients, building strong relationships and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
• Manage your workload effectively across five sites, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be a fully qualified Plumber (e.g., City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing).
• Experience in maintenance roles within corporate, commercial, or high-end residential environments.
