Freelance Mechanical Engineer

G2 are currently looking for a Freelance Mechanical Engineer to join our client in the Netherlands.

Our client is specifically looking for someone who has relevant mechanical engineering experience within the heavy lifting industry, they are looking for someone who can perform the drawings, designs and calculations of heavy lift equipment for industrial machinery.

The client is working on a heavy lift project for processing lines where they need machinery that will lift parts onto a processing line.

Start: July

Duration: 8-12 Months

Location: Netherlands, Zwolle

Rate: Depending on experience

Mechanical Engineer Specification:

• Mechanical engineering degree qualified (5+ years of experience)
• Experience within processing lines
• Understanding of Stainless steel and sheet metal
• Ability to use SolidWorks or Inventor

Roles and responsibility

For this position, you will be responsible for the mechanical engineering on new processing lines in the food industry. The client are looking to perform major upgrades over the next year and are requiring a mechanical engineer to help with the drawings, designs and calculations of the processing lines. They are looking for someone who is highly skilled in this area of expertise.

You will be responsible for the design engineering team and making sure that the documentation is correctly reported back to the main stakeholders.

The client has a suggested that they can start taking interviews at the earliest convenience.
