As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work on complex engineering and scientific challenges, analyzing failures across various industries including automotive, construction, consumer products, electronics, and medical devices. This role involves managing client assignments, networking, and business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on failure analysis investigations
• Plan and execute laboratory tests
• Assist with field inspections
• Communicate with clients and provide counsel
• Prepare technical reports
• Develop positive relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients
• Participate in hearings, trials, and mediations
• Manage multiple engagements daily
• Provide project management and budget oversight

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Sci.D or advanced degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or related science
• Research background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, combustion, or related fields
• Experience with experimental design, hardware, instrumentation, and data analysis
• Excellent communication skills
• Curiosity and passion for exploring diverse problems
• Strong deductive reasoning
• Ability to quickly adapt and develop creative solutions
• Leadership desire and capacity for auxiliary tasks in a growing firm
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Industry experience, including internships, highly valued
• Chartered Engineering status valued but not required
• Dual language fluency valued but not required
