Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer | Oxford | Permanent | Up to £45,000 (doe)

Panoramic Associates are delighted to be partnering with an established consultancy in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. This is a newly created role due to good company growth. You will be working on a variety of projects spanning multiple sectors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Delivering detailed mechanical building services designs
• Liaising with multidisciplinary stakeholders including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, contractors, and internal/external project teams
• Attending project group meetings and technical design reviews
• Ensuring designs and ongoing system requirements meet legislative and H&S standards
• Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservationn
• Producing designs using CAD and BIM (Revit) tools and other engineering resources

Experience required:

• An accredited Building Services degree
• Experience in a similar mechanical building services design role
• Ideally working towards chartered engineer status with a suitable institution
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical issues for clients and project teams
• Ambition, a willingness to learn, and strong diligence/organisation
