Mechanical Design Engineer

Required for an onsite contract in Sweden, a mechanical design engineer to join a high-tech Research and Development team of electronics design, software development, mechanical design and test engineers.

The development projects are carried out during a relatively short life cycle that vary from six months to two years. This means that you will be given the opportunity to participate in project implementation from idea and concept to final delivery to the customer.

Role:

In the role of mechanical designer:

- You work from idea to finished product with mechanical design of our products with the aim of protecting sensitive components and circuit boards so that they can withstand the tough environment they are designed for.

- The focus is on modelling and producing manufacturing data for mechanical parts, assembly and manufacturing data. - As a mechanical designer, you need to work on finding creative solutions for effective heat dissipation of hot components, damping of vibration-sensitive electronics or how we avoid that electromechanical radiation neither enters nor exits the product and risks being disturbed or disturbing other surrounding units in a larger system.

- You will work both on maintaining our existing products but also participate in new development projects where new products are to be released to the market.

- You will be part of a business with cutting-edge expertise in product development, production and delivery of high-tech electronics.

Required Experience:

- CAD (Inventor)

- EMC/ESD requirements

- Heat conduction/passive cooling

- Product development process
