Join Thames Water as a Mechanical and Electrical Apprentice, gaining hands-onskillswith key systems while working towards a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician qualification.

Whatyou'llbe doing asa Mechanical & Electrical Engineer Apprentice:

• Learn tomaintainand repair plant and equipment, including motors, power supplies, actuators, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and pipework.
• Gainknowledgein planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, including responding to breakdowns.
• Develop skills to complete jobs safely and keepaccuratework records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities as part of your training.
• Work alongsideskilled engineers, both independently and as part of a team, to build hands-on experience.

Where you will work:

Location: Pumping Thames Valley (South)- London Road, Newbury SPS RG14 2AD

Hours: 38hours a week across four working days plus one off-the-job training day , need to be at base location before 7:30am each day

Training and qualification :You'lltrain with Basingstoke College of Technology through on-campus or online sessions, with travel and accommodation covered in line with our travel expense policy

Qualification achieved: Engineering Maintenance Technician - Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Engineering (dual discipline)

Duration: Permanent contract with a 48-month structured programme.

What you should bring to the role:

• GCSE Maths and English. (grades 9-4 / A-C)
• Good timemanagement and organisational skills.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
