Mechanic Technician

Location: Avonmouth, Bristol

Salary: £36,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.30pm (42.5 paid hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

What You'll Be Doing:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a large fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).
• Diagnosing faults and ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and safe for rental.
• Working on major brands including Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and VW Transporter.
• Completing vehicle health checks and ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Maintaining a high standard of "first time fix" to keep the fleet moving.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience working in a professional garage or fleet workshop environment.
• Confidence working with LCVs/Vans is highly desirable.
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• A reliable, hardworking professional with their own basic tool kit.
