Overview

A fully owned subsidiary of a global company - expert in electrical specialties, equipment and solutions for high-tech industries - is seeking a commercially driven leader to accelerate growth across the Benelux region. This role is designed for a high-performing, sales-focused executive with a strong track record in complex industrial markets.

The GM/MD Benelux region will act as business developer, key account strategist, and regional growth architect with full responsibility for delivering top-line impact in one of Europe's most important regions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Sales Director for Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg) and ensure efficient NL/BE-wide collaboration (coherency of policies implemented, etc).
  • Manage the headquartered site near Rotterdam with a branch in Belgium.
  • Unify and lead the teams under a single Benelux banner, facilitating collaboration between departments.
  • Drive growth by expanding market share and revenue in a competitive and mature market; ensure local execution aligns with global group strategy and BU objectives.
  • Maintain P&L responsibility, balancing profitability with operational costs and investments.
  • Lead and develop the team, implementing modern management aligned with the group's standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new opportunities.
  • Navigate local regulatory, legal, fiscal, and environmental regulations.
  • Facilitate cross-BU coordination and collaboration with shared services.
  • Represent the Group with internal organizations and external bodies; be the local Legal Representative as required.
  • Organize activities according to budget and report monthly status; drive continuous improvement with clearly defined objectives for every level of the team.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A seasoned executive from the industrial sector with successful P&L management of a size comparable or larger than the company (20+ M€ revenue), preferably with experience serving technical products across multiple industries.
  • Proven track record of delivery in a highly complex, matrix multinational environment.
  • Experience in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Strong, technically oriented sales leadership with sustained growth through commercial activity.
  • Engineering background or relevant experience in technical products to understand main technical components and customer needs.
  • Experience building and managing a team and driving growth through a motivated workforce.
