Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher for a long term, full time position starting in September 2026. This role offers consistency and the opportunity to make a real impact, with potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for delivering high quality Maths lessons across Key Stages (KS3 and KS4, KS5 desirable), supporting students to build confidence and achieve strong outcomes. This is a full teaching role, including planning, marking, assessment, and active involvement in the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Develop students' numerical, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
• Create a positive and focused classroom environment
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole school activities

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
