Maths Teacher (Full Time, Permanent)

Location: Hull, East Yorkshire

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: MPS1-UPS3 (£30,000 - £46,525 per annum, dependent on experience)

The Role

Vision for Education are working in partnership with a forward thinking secondary academy in Hull, part of a successful Multi Academy Trust, to appoint a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher. This is a full time, permanent position starting in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Excellent classroom management skills
