Key Responsibilities

• Deliver High-Impact Lessons: As a dynamic Maths Teacher, you will plan and teach structured, engaging mathematics sessions across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) aligned with the UK National Curriculum.

• Full Curriculum Ownership: Take full responsibility for class preparation, ongoing student assessment, and constructive marking to accelerate student progress.

• Differentiated Instruction: Adapt your teaching methods to stretch high achievers while providing structured support to pupils building foundational numeracy skills.

• Positive Environment: Maintain a focused, structured classroom atmosphere where students feel safe making mistakes and learning from them.

• Departmental Contribution: Work alongside departmental colleagues to refine learning resources, share best practices, and support extra-curricular revision sessions.

Candidate Profile

We are searching for an approachable, skilled Maths Teacher with a strong mathematical background and excellent classroom leadership.

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.

• Proven track record of working as a Maths Teacher within a UK secondary school setting.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain abstract concepts clearly and concisely.

• Effective classroom management strategies grounded in positive encouragement and clear expectations.

• Holds an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one through Randstad).
