A large and inclusive secondary school in Ashington, Northumberland is looking for a confident and analytical Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the team.

This is a school with a strong focus on supporting students to build confidence in core subjects, particularly Maths. Staff work closely together to create a structured, supportive environment where students can develop their skills step by step.

The Role

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across KS3 and KS4 in Maths lessons
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce key concepts
  • Help students build confidence with numeracy and problem solving
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH
  • Work alongside teachers to adapt tasks and approaches
  • Encourage resilience and a positive attitude towards Maths

You'll play a key role in helping students move forward with confidence in a core subject.
