Bydand Medical Group - Maternity Cover Locum GP Opportunity

Friendly, stable and sociable practice seeking a GP Locum for maternity cover from February/March 2027 (Start date to be confirmed)

Sessions: 6 per week
Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Period of locum cover: 6 months

Based in Huntly, Aberdeenshire, with a branch surgery in Rhynie
A dispensing rural practice in a genuinely beautiful part of Scotland.

About Us

• 8,000 patients in Huntly and 1,000 patients in Rhynie
• 6 GP Partners
• 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners
• Experienced and supportive nursing and administrative team
• Busy Minor Injuries service, ideal for maintaining practical and orthopaedic skills
• Care home commitment
• 20-bed community Hospital

The Role

• Combination of face-to-face and telephone consultations
• On-call sessions including covering attached MIU
• Occasional home visits
• Well-supported and manageable workload
• Opportunity to work within an experienced and friendly multidisciplinary team
