Carbon60 is seeking a talented and experienced Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Controller to join their defence client's team in Stevenage. The MRP Controller will manage and coordinate planning activities to ensure the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) is delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate planning and procurement of materials to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Manage and schedule all work in the MRP system, maintain accurate delivery forecasts, and communicate with customers.
• Maintain efficient inventory levels, minimizing excess waste and costs.
• Ensure the accuracy of the MRP system through regular stock checks and collaboration with the Supply Planner.
• Support schedule adherence and KPI achievement through effective planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in Manufacturing Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Management.
• APICS supply chain certification is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with SAP or similar MRP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
• Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Compensation: PAYE: Up to £18.40/hour; Umbrella: Up to £24.55/hour

Work Structure: Full-time onsite
