Material and production planner (temporary)

What position are we looking for? Material and Production planner (M/F) for our Planning Department in Tres Cantos factory. The position will be temporary.

The main functions and responsibilities are:

• Ensure the availability of raw materials and components to meet production schedules while optimizing inventory levels.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics to manage material requirements and address supply issues.
• Analyze demand forecasts and create accurate material delivery schedules to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage delivery timelines, and propose process improvements for cost efficiency.
• Support the implementation of tools and systems that enhance planning and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan the production of the associated lines.
• Analyze the available capacities and demands at the front, reporting the necessary production shifts and alerting in advance about potential bottlenecks.
• Control finished product stocks both in the Tres Cantos plant and in the rest of the distribution centers (HUB's) connected to the plant (through SAP/APO/SNP).
• Participate and if necessary lead projects that are developed in the plant, whether innovation (IIM,) or any other that is considered necessary.
• Plan and ensure the necessary production capacity to achieve key objectives such as HUB service level, HUB stock coverage and plant efficiency.
• Plan products to be produced taking into consideration customer needs and key objectives.
• Consolidate and release production orders to ensure smooth and continuous manufacturing.

Requirements:

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the mass market sector.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to dynamic production environments.
• High English level. Part of the process will be in English.
• Familiar working with MS Office & SAP
