Job Description
We are partnering with a global healthcare manufacturing organisation to recruit a senior Master Planner for their Athlone site.
This is a strategic supply chain planning role responsible for translating long-term demand forecasts into a robust Master Production Schedule (MPS) and optimised capacity plan, ensuring high customer service levels within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Permanent Contract - Hybrid working
Key Responsibilities- Lead capacity planning and aggregate demand-to-hours modelling
- Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
- Align demand, supply and site capacity through S&OP processes
- Identify risks across inventory, materials, and production constraints
- Analyse and report planning performance to senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement across planning systems and processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, finance, quality and global supply chain
- 10+ years' experience in supply chain planning within manufacturing
- Strong expertise in capacity management, inventory optimisation, and production planning
- Advanced ERP/APS systems experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle, ASCP, MRP, APS)
- Strong data analysis and advanced Excel capability
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated healthcare manufacturing is highly desirable.
