Marketing Placement

Are you a creative and motivated marketing student looking for hands-on experience in a fast-paced, SME brand environment? Join the Phizz Marketing Team for an exciting placement year where you'll gain real-world experience across a variety of brand marketing functions - from supporting with content creation and email strategy to website updates and sampling campaigns.

This is an opportunity to be part of a small but impactful team where your ideas will be heard and your impact visible. You will support the team in bringing ideas to life across digital channels, assist on photoshoots, and contribute to the planning and execution of brand initiatives.

Responsibilities
  1. Content & Creative Support
  2. Help create engaging content for Phizz's digital platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, email, and our blog.
  3. Act as a community manager - engaging with followers, replying to DMs and comments, and building brand love across social media.
  4. Contribute fresh ideas for trends, hooks, captions, and content calendars.
  5. Support the planning and execution of photoshoots, content creation days, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  6. Be confident both behind the camera and in front of it - helping to bring our brand to life with energy, creativity, and authenticity across digital channels.
  7. Email & Website
  8. Help shape and build email flows and newsletters that convert and connect.
  9. Assist in updating our website, including blog posts, landing pages, and key product content.
  10. Ensure all digital touchpoints feel consistent, relevant, and on-brand.
Campaigns & Activation
  1. Support in planning and execution of brand campaigns and product sampling initiatives.
  2. Help manage influencer and Phizz Fam send-outs - from organising influencer boxes to liaising with content creators and tracking responses.
  3. Research cultural trends, influencer talent, and new ways to drive community engagement.
  4. Help track performance and gather key learnings to support ongoing improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • We understand not everyone will tick every box - and that's okay. If you're excited about the role and believe you can make a difference at Phizz, we'd love to hear from you.
  • A current university student between 2nd and 3rd year (eligible for a 12-month placement).
  • Desire to work in FMCG and gain experience in planning, developing, and executing marketing plans.
  • Creative thinker with an interest in content, branding, and digital strategy.
  • Passionate and people-focused, able to build relationships quickly and energise others with enthusiasm. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks with a 'can-do' attitude. Not afraid to get involved wherever needed.
  • Comfortable using social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) - and bonus if you've created content yourself.
  • Bonus points if you've used Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma, or basic video editing tools.
  • Embrace Phizz's core values and demonstrate these daily.
