Marketing Operations Manager

The Premier League's Commercial team is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to support our efforts to build public understanding of the Premier League's contribution to football, acting as a key project manager, playing an integral role to aid the delivery of the marketing plan for both new and existing flagship campaign moments.
The Marketing Operations Manager will be at the heart of the Premier League business, working with colleagues in all departments to deliver impactful marketing campaigns including No Room For Racism, More Than a Game, Inside Matters and will therefore help to ensure that the Premier League gains attribution,and drive positive reputation and brand association and value for the competition and for shareholder clubs.

We support and provide a framework for youth development, we protect the organisation's intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week. Where possible, you will attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.
The Role- Supporting the successful planning and delivery of the Premier League's flagship campaigns, working closely with Marketing, Communications, Policy and Digital departments
- Cross-department campaign deliverables - ensuring creative consistency, alignment and working to tight deadlines
- Invoice and budget management
- Club and partner integration - working alongside the Head of Campaigns to deliver assets, toolkits and support to commercial partners and clubs, for each campaign
- Identifying trends and insights, evaluating emerging technologies, provide thought leadership and optimise performance of Premier League marketing operations
- Pro-active liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the timely supply of relevant assets and ensuring a streamlined campaign process both internally and externally
- Performance of assigned creative, design and paid media agencies within the Premier League's portfolio
- Support the Head of Campaigns on a day-to-day basis, and other colleagues as and when required
- Be the key point of contact to agencies in an operational capacity
- Responsible for the organisation of marketing shoots ensuring all parties have been consulted at each stage (PL Safeguarding, Communications, Policy, Digital, Football Ops)
- Be the guardian of the campaign deliverables plan - responsibility for ensuring all updates and assets are delivered on time
- Support colleagues, especially those in the Premier League's Commercial, Communications and Media departments, on all marketing and campaign related activity
- Perform their responsibilities in absolute alignment with the Premier League's Values and Staff Behaviours
- Design a personal development plan that upskills themselves such that additional responsibilities can be take on over time
- In collaboration with the Safeguarding team, embed effective practices which promote and protect the safety and wellbeing of children and adults at risk/vulnerable adults who attend/engaged in Premier League activities.
- Proven experience in either brand or creative agency roles with demonstrable evidence of campaign management
- Enthusiastic, motivated and an outstanding team player with exceptional capability to manage multiple stakeholders
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent (ideally with a marketing qualification)
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Whilst a passion for the sport and entertainment business may be useful, there is no requirement to have previously worked in sport
- Some travel necessary
