About the team
Deliveroo's Marketing Effectiveness team works within the Global Marketing Organisation, whose mission is to build a brand that is consistent and scalable across markets, but is also relevant and loved locally. The Marketing Effectiveness Team's mission is to create a complete understanding of marketing effectiveness - how our activity, channels, messages and tactics influence customer perception, behaviour and business outcomes, building the tools, data and culture that enable Deliveroo to test, learn and continually improve - ensuring every marketing decision drives growth and efficiency at pace.
About the role
We're looking for a Marketing Effectiveness - Strategy & Enablement Manager to help embed data driven decision making across Deliveroo's marketing ecosystem. You'll drive strategic marketing decisions using insights from our marketing mix model (MMM), external studies and measurement tools and experiments to ensure learnings inform future planning. Working across Brand, Media, and Creative, you'll champion best practice, design effective feedback loops, and foster a culture of test and learn to continuously improve our marketing effectiveness.
What you'll be doing
Partner with marketing and planning teams to embed marketing effectiveness throughout the campaign development and planning process.
Translate model insights, studies and experiment results into clear, holistic, actionable recommendations that inform strategic marketing decisions.
Design and embed a Test & Learn framework, working closely with the Measurement Lead, Data Science and media partners to ensure consistent experimentation and feedback loops that scale learnings quickly.
Champion marketing best practices, ensuring insights are used to guide strategy, creative development and media planning.
Develop measurement frameworks and communication tools to help marketing teams apply insights in a consistent, practical way.
Work collaboratively with Brand, Campaigns, and Social & Digital Creative teams to ensure marketing activity is insight led and effectiveness principles are embedded in planning.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance marketing performance and learning integration.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing effectiveness, strategy, media planning, or marketing analytics, ideally within a large consumer brand or agency environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing effectiveness frameworks, MMM, brand tracking, and test & learn methodologies.
- Proven ability to translate analytical insights into strategic marketing recommendations that influence decision making.
- Skilled in cross functional collaboration, working effectively with creative, brand, and data teams.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly and persuasively.
- Experience building or embedding marketing processes or frameworks that drive consistency and improve performance.
- Comfortable and experienced in working with large datasets and using analytical tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, or BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- A passion for data informed creativity and for making marketing smarter, more effective, and more accountable.
