A new exciting management role within Workman Activate's Placemaking team, delivering destination marketing and placemaking services
The role will primarily focus on managing a varied number of Destination Marketing accounts, ranging from retail, mixed-use and commercial properties, delivering a360 marketingservice. The servicespecialises in delivering integrated marketing activity aimed at increasing footfall, dwell time and spend from customers. In addition, a key focus in enlivening spaces that connect each destination with their local communities and increasing satisfaction and retention levels of tenants. The role will require regular and direct communication with clients, internal property managers and onsite staff to organise, facilitate and deliver the properties marketing activities.
WHAT MATTERS IN THE ROLE?Building and maintaining close professional relationships with clients, tenants and colleagues is paramount to your success. This alongside your proven experience of managing multiple accounts, to deliver excellent outcomes for client's consumer marketing requirements, will be fundamental to succeeding in this role.
This role will primarily focus on developing and delivering the B2C marketing and events plan for retail and commercial properties. Working day to day on selected accounts this will include management of events, social media, web, digital, social value projects, budgeting and reporting. This role will also support the future growth of the service and placemaking consultancy projects.
You will need to have the ability to think outside the box and develop creative and innovative ideas.
You will be on hand to assist and review objectives for the Marketing Assistant (s), providing them with guidance to complete relevant tasks and develop their careers.
Managing multiple projects and working to different deadlines is essential.
Other duties will include:
• Lead on the preparation of each properties annual marketing plan and budgets
• Implement a robust activity planning process for each account, providing a clear plan and actions for the year ahead, for each account.
• Accountable for budget management on relevant schemes with the raising of purchases orders, or tracking payments where applicable
• Work with the Senior Account Manager, Place Marketing Manager and Placemaking Director in delivering specific elements of the teams placemaking consultancy work. Key themes of this work being Regeneration, Repurposing and Enlivenment.

By using customer and stakeholder feedback to generate a common vision, the Activate team creates places which enable innovation, enterprise and that support local economies and the wider community.
They deliver viable placemaking solutions that regenerate, repurpose and enliven destinations, with the marketing service focused on driving footfall, sales and dwell time to each property.
Salary Band: £35,000 to £40,000
Location: London
