We are seeking a Social Research Interviewer to visit households across the UK, engaging with residents to gather insights that influence public policy and services. This role involves face-to-face interviews, primarily in participants' homes, using a laptop to record responses.

Responsibilities include knocking on doors, conducting interviews, handling refusals professionally, and capturing meaningful stories that can improve community support and services. Resilience, confidence, and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role can involve rejection and challenging conversations.

Compensation & Benefits

This freelance role offers flexible hours and performance-based pay, typically between £18-£20 per interview, with additional bonuses and travel pay. Average earnings are around £15.12/hour including holiday pay.
