In order to support the Site Engineering Team for all Programs in Stade, Airbus Aerostructure is looking for a MAP Specialist Composite Structure Analysis Engineer (d/f/m)
Who we are?
We are the Site Engineering Team for all Programs in Stade. We are responsible to ensure our composite parts and assemblies are airworthy and we are always looking for opportunities to make our products and processes even better. We are an outstanding team of around 25 Engineers supporting the production of all components (wing / fuselage / Rear Fuselage Empennage) in a transnational environment. You can grow in a plant which gives you the opportunity to get in contact with relevant functions needed to build and improve our unique products.
Your location
With its 2,500 employees, the Stade plant is a constantly growing producer of complex CFRP components. All vertical stabilizers for Airbus commercial aircraft, the A400M and various individual parts from the Airbus programs come from Stade. Even in times of industrial change, the Stade plant wants to maintain its position as market leader for complex CFRP components for the aviation industry - with a powerful strategy in the areas of processes, products and people. Your tasks and responsibilities
- the analysis and validation of composite & hybrid structures for static & fatigue strength according to validated methods and provide solutions for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures
- you ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities
- you are in contact with other engineering and operating disciplines to keep our products safe and the production running
- you support the engineering organization to give more transparency to our internal and external stakeholders by supporting digitalization projects such as the use of Skywise or the automated answering process for Non-Conformities and concessions
- Another important part are our improvement projects in which we enable the plant to produce even better components
