Salary: £15.46 per hour (includes shift bonus)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:35pm - 11:05pm & Friday, 1:05pm - 8:05pm

ISQ Recruitment is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join a manufacturing team in Ely, Cambridgeshire.

This is a great opportunity for hands on individuals with previous manufacturing or production experience who are looking to develop their skills in a modern, high tech manufacturing environment. Full training on specialist machinery and processes will be provided, alongside ongoing training and career development opportunities.

What you'll be doing:

• Operating precision manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently


• Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances


• Carrying out quality checks and recording technical measurements accurately


• Maintaining accurate production records and completing associated documentation


• Updating production systems and monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process


• Working towards daily production targets while maintaining high standards


• Supporting continuous improvement and problem solving activities


• Cross training across different manufacturing processes to develop your skills

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or engineering environment


• A practical, hands on approach with good mechanical aptitude


• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills


• The ability to identify problems and contribute to continuous improvement


• The ability to work the specified afternoon and evening shift pattern
