Manufacturing Modernisation Program Manager

Program Manager - MES Modernisation - 12 months + - Switzerland

Global Enterprise Partners is currently seeking a Program Manager for a multi-phase MES/Manufacturing Modernisation Program at a critical production site for one of our global energy clients. This role will lead a major MES simplification and transformation initiative across Discovery, Define, and Delivery phases, working closely with both Manufacturing and IT stakeholders from the client

Due to the critical nature of this program, it is important that the selected candidate is based in Switzerland and able to spend 2/3 days onsite per week initially and at critical points of the program.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end MES/Manufacturing Modernisation program across all phases
• Oversee program governance, including Program Board leadership, Steering updates, RAID management, and escalation handling
• Define MES strategy and blueprinting, shaping future-state design, requirements, integration boundaries, and system roles
• Manage RFP processes for Delivery Partner and Technical Solution selection
• Oversee suppliers and consultancy partners, ensuring alignment and high-quality outputs
• Coordinate across IT and Manufacturing teams including Operations, Testing, Automation, Quality, ME, Supply Chain, and the Business Unit teams
• Ensure benefits tracking linked to capacity, OEE, quality, and scalability improvements

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering large, complex programs with multiple workstreams and vendors
• Strong program structure and governance capabilities
• Deep MES experience implementing various solutions (eg SiView, Siemens Opcenter/Camstar, ECS, Critical Manufacturing, Apriso, Rockwell or similar)
• Experience working across both IT and Manufacturing environments
• Strong supplier/vendor management experience including RFP leadership and contract oversight
• Excellent senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Fluent English is required, German would be beneficial
• Experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing or similar industry is required
• Ability to be onsite in Lenzburg, Switzerland, 2-3 days per week
