Manufacturing Engineer at N Consulting Ltd Manufacturing Engineer (4 Openings)

Location: Prestwick, Scotland
Contract: Minimum 6 months, fully onsite (no remote)
Experience: 2+ years in Manufacturing Engineering
Qualification: HNC or equivalent in a related engineering discipline

Key Responsibilities:

Implement robust technical solutions aligned with customer requirements on cost, quality, and schedule.

Manage and update bills of materials in ERP systems.

Translate design data/specifications into clear work instructions for manufacturing.

Support engineering changes from concept through delivery.

Communicate complex technical info simply for non-technical staff.

Manage supplier/customer technical discussions.

Maintain data control and configuration mechanisms.

Support APQP elements like Manufacturing Plans, PFMEA, Control Plans.

Liaise with customers, design teams, regulatory bodies.

Assist in closing customer non-conformances.

Support design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives targeting efficiency and quality.

Required Skills & Experience:

2+ years relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.

Familiar with Engineering Change processes.

Knowledge of engineering systems and Continuous Improvement methods.

Experience with aerospace customers (e.g., Boeing, Airbus) is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
