Our Client, a leading company in the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer (NPI/NPD Lead) to join their dynamic team on a contract basis in Warwickshire.
Role SummaryAs a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI/NPD Lead), you will play a crucial role in leading NPI/NPD projects within the fast-paced aerospace sector. Your responsibilities will include integrating new customer requirements and products into existing manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with key aerospace clients.
Responsibilities- Lead NPI/NPD projects from initiation to completion
- Communicate technical requirements with customers and provide regular updates
- Delegate tasks and supervise the engineering team
- Develop documentation, SOPs, and project plans for new processes
- Offer technical expertise in pressing, forming, welding, and fabrication
- Proven track record in leading NPI/NPD projects
- Proficiency in forming, welding, and fabrication processes
- Hands-on experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry
- Required: DBS and Right to Work checks
- Additional aerospace industry experience would be advantageous
