Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd is a leading UK based provider of interpreting services working with NHS trusts, local councils, law firms, insurance companies and private clients. We are looking for fluent Mandarin speakers based in Worcester or surrounding areas to join our network of professional linguists, whether experienced or aspiring to start a freelance career.

Responsibilities

• Provide face to face, telephone, and video remote interpreting for NHS hospitals, GP practices, social services, child protection, schools, courts, council and private sector consultations.
• Accept assignments that fit your schedule, including remote and in person appointments.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Professional references and proof of ID and address.
• Community interpreting qualification, DPSI, NRPSI registration, or relevant experience is welcome.
