Role Purpose - Managing Quantity Surveyor

This is a key strategic hire for a commercially astute leader looking to influence and shape a global commercial framework, whilst being exposed to global tier 1 clients and the fast growing Data Centre industry! You'll lead with conviction, take responsibility for results, and expect the same level of accountability from those around you.

What You'll Be Doing as our Managing QS:
  • Take full commercial ownership of projects or portfolios from contract through to final account
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, setting high standards and clear expectations
  • Drive commercial strategy, cost control, forecasting, and reporting
  • Manage and interpret NEC /FIDIC/ JCT contracts, ensuring compliance and entitlement
  • Lead negotiations with clients and supply chain partners
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risk and opportunityAct as a trusted commercial advisor to project and senior management
  • Embed strong governance, controls, and best practice across the business
What We're Looking For in our Managing QS:
  • A proven Managing or Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to lead from the front
  • Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on, accountable mindset
  • Confident communicator who can operate at client and senior stakeholder level
  • Experience leading and developing QS / commercial teams
  • Deep understanding of NEC/FIDIC and/or JCT contracts
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
