We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production facility in Burnfoot, County Donegal. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing high performance teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering change in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, inspire, and develop cross functional teams to achieve operational targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met or exceeded.
- Champion change management initiatives, implementing process improvements and lean practices to drive efficiency and delivery.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with overall business goals and strategic plans.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, using data to guide decision making and improve outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and supervise production team leaders and staff.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to maintain seamless operations.
- Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
- Manage production budgets and control costs effectively.
- Drive employee engagement, training, and development programs.
- Champion operational excellence and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or similar.
- Strong track record of building and sustaining high performance teams.
- Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma qualifications).
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field (preferred).
- Will accept expert industry related experience in lieu of Third level qualifications.
