Job Description

You join the CIB COO, and more specifically the Global Banking Operations (GBO) scope as a Leader manager dedicated to the implementation and monitoring of structured commodity financing initiated by the Global Trade business line.

You are directly attached to the Head of Agency & Working Capital, the scope covered includes 14 employees.

Your daily tasks are:

  • Supervise the functions of the agent and middle offices carried out by the team you supervise:
    • Set up new operations in coordination with the origination and structuring teams, as well as with the legal department;
    • Monitoring of the smooth running of operations and management events: monitoring of uses, collateral, covenants, amendments ,
    • Coordination of the lender pools and management of the relationship with the borrower client.
  • Supervise the monitoring of risks and collateral placed under the responsibility of the Middle Officers of the operations of a dedicated portfolio of clients in compliance with the limits and ratios granted by the Risk Department,
  • Instill a risk culture and lead training and awareness sessions around the monitoring of risks associated with our financing (credit, operational, compliance sanctions & AML ),
  • Actively participate in business structuring projects such as the Risk Management Programmme, automation projects, operational risk reduction,
  • Encourage and oversee the continuous improvement dynamic by coordinating action plans, particularly in response to operational incidents, customer complaints or inefficiencies.

You are the preferred interface of the front office for those who know how to understand issues and problems, but also other stakeholders and internal and/ or external stakeholders at the Bank (Trade Finance back offices, risk management, compliance management, foreign platforms etc.), with whom you communicate for the benefit of the funded projects and the Bank.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

You have at least 5 years of experience in managing an activity ideally within a CIB activity: banking operations, international trade, support functions

You are proficient in:
• Team management in a change management context (IT tool, digitalization );
• Complex project management;
• Process optimization.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability, you are:
• Able to collaborate and work in teams, synthesize and simplify;
• Organized, reliable and rigorous;
• Has a keen sense of communication.

You have a C1 level of English.
