As a Manager in Investor Services, you will drive GIST Impact's growth by actively leading investor-focused business development efforts within the financial sector. Your role will emphasise understanding ESG data applications, structuring licensing agreements, and prospecting new investor opportunities while building strong, long-lasting relationships. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will develop strategic business development materials, lead high-stakes pitches, and ensure that GIST Impact's solutions align with investor needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Strategy & Pricing: Develop and execute investor-specific business development strategies, coordinating pricing discussions and contract negotiations for ESG data licenses. Align approaches with market demands and GIST Impact's goals.
- Material Development & Pitch Leadership: Create high-impact materials tailored to investor needs. Lead presentations and pitches to communicate GIST Impact's value proposition effectively.
- Market Intelligence & Product Alignment: Stay informed on ESG and financial sector trends, integrating investor insights into product development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GIST Impact's offerings meet investor expectations.
- Investor Services & Relationship Management: Identify and manage investor relationships, focusing on long-term account growth and strategic alignment. Serve as the primary contact for investors, driving upsell opportunities and customising ESG data use cases.
- Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership: Position GIST Impact as a sustainability leader by representing the organization at conferences, forums, and industry events. Actively engage in thought leadership initiatives to broaden the company's visibility and investor reach.
- Investor Services & Financial Sector Knowledge: Proven experience in investor relations or business development, preferably in ESG or sustainability, with strong knowledge of financial sector dynamics and data licensing.
- ESG Data Expertise: In-depth understanding of ESG data applications, investor use cases, and industry standards (GRI, IFRS, CSRD, CDP).
- Advanced Communication & Client Management: Skilled at managing high-profile investor relationships and leading effective pitches.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong market intelligence skills and the ability to translate insights into strategic actions.
- Industry Visibility & Engagement: Track record of representing organizations in high-visibility settings and contributing to thought leadership in the field.
- Minimum of 7 years in investor services, ESG, or related fields, with experience in the financial sector sustainability-focused product strategy.
