Manager International Engineering

At Salas Montalvo, we are working with an international industrial-logistics group to find a Manager who will lead the opening of their new Global Engineering Office, based in the Madrid area.

The company is in a strong phase of international growth and is setting up a new technical center to lead the design and development of its specialized facilities. We are looking for a professional with strategic vision, solid experience in technical environments, and strong skills in team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and implementation of the new engineering and design hub.
• Oversee the development of advanced technical solutions for automated infrastructure.
• Manage the planning, execution, and oversight of complex industrial projects.
• Identify and drive process improvements, managing deviations in cost, scope, and timelines.
• Provide technical support throughout the full project life cycle-from design to operational launch.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Operations, Planning, and Business Expansion.
• Prepare technical documentation for contractor selection and support regulatory processes.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team within an international context.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Civil, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering disciplines.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical design and project execution in sectors such as construction, logistics, or industrial operations.
• Prior experience in multinational settings and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep understanding of industry regulations, construction methods, and energy-efficient solutions.
• Proficiency with engineering and design software tools.
• Fluent in English (mandatory).
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and results-oriented mindset.
