Manager, Fleet Services - Remote Manager of Fleet Services provides fleet management leadership and support across the America's footprint for all company issued leased cars, trucks, and service vans in support of execution of Allegion business. This role is specifically responsible for: performing detailed financial analysis to determine appropriate cost-effective life cycling for the entirety of the fleet; initiate, monitor & adjust company policy to maximize efficiency, profitability and reduce liability exposure. This includes acquisition, maintenance and remarketing as determined by cost effective life cycling with special attention to regulatory and DOT compliance. Other critical responsibilities of this role involve knowledge of analytical measurements, concepts, and effective methods of remedy to drive the highest level of performance through all levels of company vehicle operations; high degree of technical aptitude to determine appropriate vehicles or equipment that would maximize efficiency and profitability to the company. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. What You Will Do: Manages all Fleet & Safety related activities Manages the relationship and business performance requirements of 3rd Party Fleet Service Providers Leads the coordination of fleet delivery schedules with Fleet Suppliers (U.S. & Canada) Leads the Fleet Services Council for governance and oversight of Fleet Services Program for the Americas Provides management and oversight of merger and acquisition tasks related to fleet transition services, inclusive of client activities surrounding fleet lease renewals, expansions, acquisitions, and divestitures within the fleet business portfolio. Produces complex financial comparative analysis and financial considerations of life cycle management for the Fleet Negotiates business terms with OEM manufacturers for establishment of total cost for entire Fleet Manages the Order Cycle for Fleet and Replacement Schedule Establishes Policy and Procedure requirements for the user community that will be assigned fleet vehicles Provides oversight and monitoring of training and safety protocols related to Fleet Resolves and Troubleshoots issues that arise between government entities and Users of the Fleet Collaborates with internal Leaders in Sales and Service for Fleet assignments Responsible for instituting standards and practices that reduce risks and liabilities to Allegion Project-manages the portfolio initiatives involving fleet services including project approval, cost analysis, tracking and progress reporting and reporting of achievement of identified savings. Engages internal and external legal resources to review lease documentation and ensure that appropriate lease terms and conditions are reflected in agreements. Prepares reports to key stakeholders as required. Identifies and engages critical resources/skills as necessary to complete engagements/assignments in a timely manner. What You Need to Succeed: Bachelors degree required. Preferred, but not required - CAFM certification. Preferred, but not required - Project Management Certification A minimum of 7 years of progressive responsibilities in Corporate Fleet Administration In depth knowledge of financial terms and principles relating to Fleet Services leases & Purchases Strong aptitude for all aspects nationwide fleet operations including cars, light truck, medium duty trucks, service vans, decaling upfitting and ancillary equipment and fuel purchasing practices Knowledge of insurance practices, risk management and collision repairs DOT experience is a Plus, but not required Analytical, strategic and creative thinker in developing and presenting financial analysis as a basis to establish and position negotiations. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The expected Base Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000.
