Manager, Engineering - Managed Services (Hybrid)

About the Role

Manager of the UK Team in the Managed Services product group. Lead a cross discipline team of Front End and Cloud engineers to develop APIs, UIs, and cloud services that support the Falcon Complete customer experience. Hybrid role based in London (within 30 miles) with meetings in the London office 1-2 times per week.

What You'll Do

• Attract, hire, and develop a high performance engineering team.
• Drive the product mission by partnering with stakeholders to define strategy, technical architecture, product roadmap, and execution plans.
• Champion high code quality, scalable and resilient system design, and customer focus across the team.
• Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation and ownership.
• Participate in on call rotation every four weeks.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing multiple software products/releases, preferably in a SaaS delivery model.
• 4+ years of managing teams of 6+ individual contributors, delivering major product milestones.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems in public or private cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of REST, API design patterns, and microservices.
• Experience managing full stack development teams (UI and backend services).
• Familiarity with container orchestration, deployment models, modern CI/CD pipelines.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with Java, Golang, No SQL databases, Apache Kafka, Redis, and authN/authZ concepts.
• Proven experience applying AI technologies to enhance decision making, streamline workflows, and drive business outcomes.
