We are currently seeking a highly motivated Outreach Respite Manager to join our new and exciting Afterschool Children's Respite Service in Meath.

Contract Details
  • Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract
  • Contract Hours: 28 hours per week, 0.80 WTE
  • Salary Scale: €55,430 to €68,228 pro rata per annum, commensurate with qualification and experience
  • Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum (proportionately less for less than 12 months service)
  • Salary scales are subject to Long Service Increments (LSI) and may increase in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement.
Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the development, management and delivery of a range of respite services in the region including day, evening and weekend respite, afterschool support, summer activity sessions and future alternative respite services across the Southeast. This includes management of staffing, budgets, and provision of the highest standards of respite care.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, implementing Enable Ireland policies and procedures, ensuring child centred care, and maintaining a high standard of clinical care.

The successful candidate will line manage and provide support and supervision, and ensure appropriate training is delivered to the staff team.

Qualifications
  • Recognised third level qualification in Nursing or Social care relevant to the post
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Previous management/supervisory experience relevant to the role
  • Experience leading and managing teams and resource management
  • Full driver's licence
  • Right to work in the country
  • Experience delivering training
  • Experience working in the health care or not for profit sector
