The opportunity:

Joining the Reward Employment Tax team at EY offers unparalleled opportunities to foster client relationships early in your career and engage in the comprehensive management of our services. As we aim to expand PAS and achieve our goals, we're looking to welcome a Reward Tax Manager to our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver employment tax compliance and advice to clients across various industry sectors.
• Stay up-to-date with key technical and industry skills, and share expertise with others.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and presentations.
• Manage complex consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical solutions.
• Build and maintain client confidence and relationships.
• Identify and develop opportunities for new business.
• Recognize and manage potential issues during client assignments.
• Structure and manage projects to meet and exceed client expectations while mitigating risks.

About you:

• Experience in employment tax within consultancy, legal, or large corporate environments.
• Strong impact, resilience, and influencing skills at all levels.
• Technical understanding of employment tax issues like Expenses & Benefits, Employment Status, Payroll, Construction Industry Scheme, Termination Payments, Pensions, Minimum Wage, HMRC dealings, audits, and equity plans.
• Business development and project management skills.
• Flexible, professional, and practical problem-solving approach.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
• High-quality technical guidance and ability to motivate teams.
• Qualifications such as ATT and/or CTA are preferred.
