Manager - Deal Advisory

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent consulting firm seeking to expand its Deal Advisory Practice in Brussels. The firm is looking for a Manager with deep expertise in financial due diligence to support complex M&A transactions across diverse sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and play a key role in advising clients on strategic deals in the Belgian and broader Benelux market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for corporate and private equity clients.
• Analyze financial and operational information to identify key issues impacting valuation and deal structure.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver high-quality transaction advice.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless execution of engagements.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development activities.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to support their development and the growth of the practice.

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of experience in deal advisory, transaction services, or M&A financial consulting (experience with a Big 4 or top advisory firm is highly desirable).
• In-depth experience leading financial due diligence projects.
• Strong financial analysis and accounting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch (native or near-native level), with strong command of English; French is a plus.
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are a plus.
