Management Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a global professional services organisation to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance function based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is a well-established global professional services organisation with an extensive international presence. They are seeking a Management Accountant to join their Belfast Financial Control team, supporting management accounting and reporting for their UK operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team in a varied role combining financial reporting, commercial analysis and process improvement.

The Rewards:

• £42,000-£50,000 base salary + extensive benefits package;
• Annual bonus (10%);

The Role:

As the successful Management Accountant, you will:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals, P&L and balance sheet reviews;
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items;
• Analyse performance against budgets and forecasts, explaining key financial movements;
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles;
• Maintain strong financial controls and support year-end, statutory and group audits;
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person:

The successful Management Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent;
• Open to accountancy practice or industry background;
• Strong technical accounting experience;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
