Your new role
The aim of this role is to deliver accurate month-end reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and support Group reporting processes through ERP and consolidation systems.

You will:

• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and reclassifications.
• Complete month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage employee expense accounting, including corporate card transactions and expenses systems.
• Maintain inventory accounting, stock provisions, and product costing.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and lease accounting.
• Prepare intercompany, management charge, and tax-related journals.
• Calculate bad debt, warranty, and other financial provisions.
• Support overhead analysis and variance reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly reporting data in line with Group reporting deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Strong month-end and management accounting experience.
• Experience preparing journals, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Previous ERP experience; exposure to consolidation or Group reporting systems would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
