An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join one of the most exciting and innovative companies Cambridge has seen in recent years, during a key phase of its development.

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting business decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Financial modelling and business performance reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
• Sales and purchase ledger oversight
• Supporting payroll processes
• Audit and statutory reporting support
• Grant, investor and management reporting
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across finance

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience within a growing business environment would be advantageous
