Management Accountant

RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic manufacturing company based in Oldham who are recruiting a Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller due to recent company growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a growing SME. The role will suit a part qualified management accounting studying CIMA/ACCA

The Role

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor costs and help improve profitability
• Analyse financial performance and explain variances
• Assist with month-end, year-end close and audit preparation
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance
• Help improve systems, processes, and reporting efficiency
• Assist the financial controller with any duties as required

The Person

• Proven experience working as a management accountant for 2-5 years +
• Part CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or studying to become fully qualified
• Experience within the manufacturing business would be an advantage
• Software: SAGE 50, strong MS Excel skills
