My client, an established Commercial M&E specialist are seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join their team in London. ResponsibilitiesAs a Commercial Maintenance Plumber, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
- Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and system malfunctions.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborating with other maintenance professionals and contractors to address complex issues.
- Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding plumbing system upgrades or improvements.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Relevant plumbing certifications and qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
Your typical day as a Commercial Maintenance Plumber will involve:
- Responding to service requests and emergency plumbing issues in a timely manner.
- Performing scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
- Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
- Coordinating with property managers and other stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance activities.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
