Then read on To support our customers and meet the aspirations held by the Group, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Officer to join our Operations Team.

Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent repairs and maintenance services to tenants and customers in accordance with policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Inspecting and coding in line with the schedule of rates of all reactive, void property, service charge and estate management maintenance work.
  • Managing and completing pre/post inspections, including voids, reactive repairs, mutual exchanges and estate inspections.
  • Conducting site surveys and inspections, including water and legionella risk assessments for void properties.
  • Ensuring that all repairs and contracts are commenced and completed in accordance with agreed programmes and within budget.
  • Identifying work for future planned maintenance programmes and contributing to lifecycle asset planning.
  • Ensuring that the quality of work by contractors appointed for reactive, void and service charge maintenance and service contracts is of the highest standard and complies with requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline or relevant technical qualification and time served in a relevant trade.
  • A full driving licence and a company insured vehicle for business use.
  • Experience of Energy Performance Certificate surveys (EPC) would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing repairs and maintenance services, inspecting and coding, managing inspections, conducting surveys, ensuring repairs are on time and within budget, identifying future maintenance work, and ensuring contractor quality.
