Are you an experienced Engineering or Maintenance Manager looking to make a significant impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Manager to take ownership of site engineering operations, lead a high-performing team and drive improvements in reliability, efficiency and operational performance across the facility.

The Role
  • Lead, motivate and develop the engineering team to achieve site performance objectives.
  • Drive maintenance strategy, reliability improvements and equipment effectiveness.
  • Manage engineering budgets, maintenance spend and spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure all statutory inspections and maintenance activities are completed safely and on time.
  • Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Utilise CMMS and maintenance systems to develop planned maintenance strategies.
  • Work closely with operational teams to deliver OEE improvements and support future growth plans.
Essential Requirements
  • Recognised Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent).
  • Previous experience leading engineering or maintenance teams within manufacturing.
  • Strong people management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Financial awareness and budget management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
  • Degree qualified in Engineering.
  • Experience using SAP or CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience supporting capital investment projects.
