Maintenance Heating Engineer

Wycombe Abbey seeks to appoint a Heating Engineer to work as a member of the in-house Maintenance Team to carry out routine maintenance and repairs, with emphasis on mechanical systems and services such as the Building Energy Management System (BEMS), essential for the school's operations and presentation.

Contract: This is a permanent, full-time position. The first six months will be a probationary period.

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week in a shift system, between 7:00am - 6:00pm, hours to be agreed with the Deputy Estates Manager. A one-hour unpaid lunch break is included. The post may require responding to emergencies or assisting with school operations outside normal hours, including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and holiday periods. Such hours will be paid as overtime or accrued as time off in lieu.
