Maintenance Fitter - Shift

Overview

Opportunity to join a well-established international high-volume manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Machine fault finding, repair and problem solving
• Hydraulics and pneumatic maintenance
• Continuous improvement throughout the plant
• Welding/Fabrication maintenance
• Performs repairs of all buildings and equipment
• Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building and equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects checks and replaces bearings, seals, etc.
• Inspects boiler; treats water with proper chemicals
• Calibrates and repairs pneumatic systems

Experience / Qualifications

• Ideally 1 to 15 years plus post-apprenticeship experience
• Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship qualifications (MAMF) - Advantage having some machine shop experience
• Computer literacy
• CMM, Computerised Maintenance Systems (SAP) is an advantage
