Your New Role

Working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be capable of undertaking various planned, reactive and proactive maintenance tasks supporting the overall function of machinery/equipment identifying faults and solutions alike. This is a fast-paced production environment and you must be conversant with machine maintenance and repair.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment • Maintain automated and conveying systems along with specialised production equipment • Work with electronic/electrical and mechanical systems • Work as part of a team, supporting production breakdowns and operations requirements • Work in a high volume manufacturing environment • Implement solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues.
What You'll Need To Succeed
You will need to be a timed-served Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth Technical knowledge and experience of Electrical, mechanical Manufacturing Machinery essential • Strong technical ability to solve Electrical and pneumatic machine faults • Experience in Electrical installation and commissioning of new equipment • Knowledge of CNC and PC systems would be desirable • Experienced with PLC controlled automated systems • Team working and flexibility with an open attitude, with the ability to work autonomously • Capable of effective prioritisation of tasks and personal time management • Able to work unsupervised and prioritise your own time and activities • Have strong Fault finding and analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem-solving • Able to demonstrate a proven ability in troubleshooting and recovering equipment in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Get In Return
For working an attractive shift pattern, with only 10 shifts every 21 days you will earn a salary up to £35350 which is enhanced with an OT rate of 1.5, company pension and healthcare scheme. A more senior role on a Monday - Friday (days) basis is also available for a similar salary.
