A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established British manufacturing business with an outstanding reputation and exciting long-term growth plans. This role offers an initial 18-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years and potential permanent opportunities as the company continues to expand its operations.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in delivering safe, reliable, and efficient production through a proactive reliability-led maintenance strategy. The successful engineer will be responsible for maximising equipment availability, improving asset performance, reducing repeat failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations.

Factory Maintenance

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)

• Experience within Food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environments.

• Experience supporting continuous improvement projects.

• PLC fault-finding experience would be advantageous.

• £45,559.25 annual salary including shift allowance.

• Initial 18-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years.

• Potential opportunity to secure a permanent position as site expansion progresses.

• 6.4 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays, pro rata).

• Scheduled attainment bonus paid in November.

Initially working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm before moving onto a rotating 3-shift pattern:

• Week 1: 6am - 2pm

• Week 2: 8am - 4pm (or 7am - 3pm depending on business requirements)

• Week 3: 2pm - 10pm
