Maintenance Engineer

Working a 4 on 4 off days & nights shift pattern.

Salary £35,000 to £38,500 plus Benefits and excellent training.

What You Will Do:

- Optimise machinery performance and ensure product quality by performing effective preventative maintenance and responding promptly to breakdowns.

- Minimise production downtime by identifying root causes of equipment issues and implementing efficient solutions.

- Collaborate with the operations team to maintain smooth factory operations and communicate effectively with the Engineering Shift Manager.

- Adhere to company and legislative health and safety guidelines while promoting good engineering and hygiene practices.

- Use problem-solving techniques to identify and address potential issues, ensuring the factory operates at peak efficiency.

- Complete inspection, cleaning, and routine parts replacement to maintain equipment reliability.

What You Will Bring:

- A strong interest in engineering, with experience as a machine minder or technical operator.

- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Practical skills and an understanding of machinery adjustments, breakdown causes, and performance optimisation.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively or independently.

- A willingness to develop and progress within the engineering field, supported by training opportunities.
